Is there an increase in traffic to and from the plants?
During testing activities there can be a slight increase in traffic.
This can mean, for example, that transport operations go by road rather than by sea to our plants on Gotland and Öland. When permanent use starts, transport of alternative fuels will replace regular transports of coal and oil.
Coal and oil are transported over long distances. Residual materials, by contrast, are often comparatively close by, which in due course will lead to shorter transport distances and lower emissions.
